用1000ml去離子水溶解96.7g培養基粉末。saponlacus鹽鐵菌滅菌條件是，121℃高壓蒸汽滅菌15min。
Adjust the pH to 8.5 with 1M NaOH. Boil and allow too cool under a steady stream of 80% N2 and 20% CO2. Add 10.0 g of Na2CO3 and 10.0 g of NaHCO3. Place the media into an anaerobic chamber and add 1.5 ml of a 10% cysteine hydrochloride solution. Note: the pH will increase to about 9.2 after adding the carbonate and the bicarbonate. Allow the media to remain overnight in the anaerobic chamber. Dispense 10 ml into Balch tubes and autoclave for 30 minutes at 121ºC. The methylene blue color reduction from blue to colorless is used as an indicator for anaerobic conditions. Limit exposure to light.
